At Captain's Coaching

Our sole priority is to make you a confident, skilled and safe boater.

We have trained new and experienced boaters from 20 to 100ft in size. Our training encompasses topics such as technical docking, anchoring at the sandbar, Great Loop preparation, radio procedures, navigation, electronics, rules of the road, safety, etiquette, tide, wind, first mate handling, systems operations, maintenance, daily checklists, lock transit, knots and much more. Our goal is to make you and your team proficient in every situation you encounter on the water.

Training Options

4hr half day class (Most common)

8hr full day class (Generally Larger Vessels over 40ft)

Owner Assisted Delivery Trips

– Consists of training and operation behind the helm along the way to our destination.

– Common trips have included Florida Keys, Okeechobee Waterway, Tennessee River, Ten Tom Waterway, Panhandle ICW, Northern Rivers, etc.

Have the confidence you need to both Captain your new boat as well as have expert consultation on the right vessel for your particular needs. At Captain’s Coaching we will help make the process understandable, transparent and a fun experience.
